The regrinding of small  and medium sized material.
This second stage grinding system is ideal for reprocessing many different types of plastic waste materials efficiently and economically. The NZ range of granulators regrind the pre-shredded material down to a size as small as 3mm / 0.1"
Features and Benefits:
Outboard spherical bearings take care of rotor shaft mis-alignment and also prevents plastic dust from entering into the bearings.
Fixed blades are located in inclined plane, which reduces fly back of material and ensures positive feeding of hollow articles into the cutting chamber.
The scissor action of Rotary & Fixed Blades reduces energy consumption
 
Hinged two piece cutting chamber for easy changing of blades & cleaning the chamber.

Sieve is cradle mounted for easy removal & cleaning.

Bearing is with taper bore & sleeve type, for easier removal. Or bearing is ucp type.

Fix & rotary blades both can be adjusted to set the required clearance between rotary & fix blade thereby, rotary blade & fix blade are used to the fullest extent. In rotor we have provided slots, instead of threads in rotor, for fitting rotary blade with rotor. The disadvantage with threads is that in due course of time, the threads get damaged & repairing becomes very expensive.

For proper belt tension adjustment & alignment with rotor pulley, the motor is fitted on motor plate, which slides in guides, & tension is adjusted by screw & nut arrangement.

Scrap grinders with Ram press can also be manufactured. This is extremely useful for those who are in grinding of voluminous thin walled articles, it reduces fly back & feeds positively with pusher into the cutting chamber. The production with ram type of arrangement is enhanced by app. 25% than using he same machine without ram press. The ram press operates hydraulically or manually.

Scrap grinders with additional deflector blades can also be supplied to granulate heavy lumps. This deflector blades can be removed while granulating voluminous items (Optional)

Provision for side wear plates can be provided in bottom chamber and top chamber of scrap grinder this enables to replace to wear plates are worn out thus increase the life of scrap grinder. (Optional)
 
Feature The granulated chips fall out side of the machine frame & thus not require trolley wheel bin for collection of granulated chips & thus avoid spilling of chips on the floor.
Feature We also manufacture scrap grinders with “V” cut rotors. The“V” arrangement of rotary knives pushes the material in the centre of chamber, reducing wear on the side walls & tendency to plasticize. The wear on the blade is more even& equally distributed (OPTIIONAL)
